Our students learn Quran, various Islamic sciences and the Arabic language.
Since 1994, the Nairobi Muslim Academy has been educating students with a specific focus on nurturing them to have a profound love of Allah and his messenger, our master Mohammad, peace and blessing be upon him.
Our outstanding teachers and support staff are dedicated to developing and nurturing our students’ faith in Allah, and preparing them to be engaged citizens, stewards of humanity and people of beautiful character. Our students learn Quran, various Islamic sciences, and the Arabic language. They attend the daily Dhuhr prayer and Jumu’ah on Fridays, and have countless opportunities to serve the Muslim community.
At Nairobi Muslim Academy, we believe that service is an essential quality of a believer and we strive to raise students that find fulfillment in serving others. In our school we also have Tahfidhul Quran department which was initiated on 1st January 2022 due to the raised demand for a Quran department which will produce learners who have memorized the whole Quran.
The department consists of different levels and programs. We have pre-writing level (age 5- age 6) which will teach the child pencil gripping and learning how to write Arabic letters. Followed by, Farbar level 1 and 2 (Kitaba & Qiraah) where we teach the children how to write and read Arabic. The duration set for this level is 5 months.
Thereafter, the child will go to Quran levels depending their gender and age. The Quran completion plan for full-time students is planned to be 30 Academic months (3 years) while Quran completion plan for evening and/or part-time students is planned to be 4 years. Thereafter the students receive the Quran memorization certificate and Ijaza to all legible students. Additionally, we teach Islamic studies as Hadith, Seerah, Practical Tajwid, Tarbiya, Fiqhi, Qisas, and other relevant subjects.
Our aim is to produce memorizers of Quran and instill the love for the Quran in their hearts.

FAQS & ADMISSION PROCESS
To cater for the need in the Muslim Ummah for a modern conducive environment for our children to learn and memorize the Holy Quran. An environment that is quiet, friendly to the children to have fond memories of memorizing the Quran with passionate Quran teachers. This makes the words in the Quran come alive. We hope this will make our children love the words of Allah and inspire them to raise the teachings of Allah to higher levels in shaa Allah.
This is the ideal opportunity for any parent with a desire to see his or her children memorize the holy Quran.

It is in a good and conducive environment, in a strategic and easily accessible location. The pupils are taught to memorize and recite the Quran using different Qiraats. Our Quran teachers are all rounded and well-versed teachers. The rooms are spacious and child friendly to encourage concentration and the ability to learn and memorize.
As part of keeping the children engaged during break time, we have a swimming pool and a sports field where children can swim and play as a way to relax.
