Our Origins
- Nairobi Muslim Academy was founded to offer a balanced education that combines strong Islamic principles with academic excellence. From humble beginnings, we have grown into a respected institution shaping future leaders with faith and knowledge.

- We aim to nurture faith, discipline, and moral values; promote holistic growth; inspire lifelong learning; and equip students with skills to thrive in a changing world while upholding Islamic teachings and peaceful coexistence.

Our Growth
Over the years, Nairobi Muslim Academy has steadily grown in size, reputation, and achievement. Through dedication, modern facilities, and committed staff, we continue to expand our programs and impact more learners each year.

Board of Trustees

Hajji Ismail Maalim
Hajji Ismail Maalim is a founding member and chairman of the Waqf (Nairobi Islamic Charitable Trust). He is passionate about investing in education and Islamic growth through supporting Mosque activities.
He is the engineer behind the design and infrastructure of Nairobi Muslim Academy and the adjacent mosque, Masjid Nur (South C) where he serves as the chairman of the Mosque Committee.
He is a philanthropist supporting many initiatives within the Muslim community.
Mohamed Osman Warfa
Mohamed Osman Warfa is a long serving veteran Educationalist. He is the brain child of Nairobi Muslim Academy and he is the pillar behind the success of the school as its manager. He is the Secretary of the Waqf (Nairobi Islamic Charitable Trust) that runs the school.
He serves in other roles within the Muslim community. He is the chairman of the Jamia Mosque Committee. He is a member of Tabligh (Propagation of Islam).
He is a Philanthropist and a proactive mentor to many.
